I am looking to learn how to tig weld aluminum piping. Was wondering if anyone knew how or knew someone I could learn from, willing to pay for said knowledge within reason like for materials, time, and such. Or if nothing else some info on good schools to learn this skill at.

Ivy Tech? It's where my brother got all his certificates and now he's working for us out in our fab shop doing robotic orbital tig welding.

I knew they offered lessons I just didn't know if they were good enough that someone actually went on to do something with the skills there.

If he's been out in the shop in this 104 degree heat knocking out the welds he does then he must be. But he mainly does tig welding on stainless and inconel here at our shop. Even while the O-tig is running he's tigging on the other end of the assembly where it can't get to.

Unfortunately not as he's fresh out of school and doesn't have a welder at home. I may be able to get it done at work somehow, let me know what you need done and I'll run it by him.
