I've been following this for awhile, just thought i'd share it here. If you have time to read his posts from the beginning, you'll see how batshit crazy/perfectionist this guy is. It's an awesome build.

About 3 years ago I saw this car in person at a car show when I lived out in Seattle, WA still. At the time is was mostly a couple exterior pieces added so I just assumed it was a half riced Mirage. I guess now I will go through the thread and see what he has made of it since I saw it last.

I had thought about doing this actually. Found the link about a year ago on Tuners and I read through about 30 pages then. I would love to take some unsuspecting 4 door car and drop an AWD 4G63 drivetrain in it. Good Times.

That's why I love the Evo 1-3 or 4g Mirage sedans in America. Sleeper! Would hate to see how that would skate around in the winter though being that much lighter.

hmmm...mine is bad enough. You could put stock sized tires on it and probably do ok with AWD. The narrower tires would probably cut through the snow better than the wider ones.

I'd get an evo floorpan and convert everything over to an evo 6 mechanically but leave the exterior completely stock. Get the biggest performance tires in the stock size and run it. Paint the intercooler and exhaust black to keep it on the DL. It'd be hilarious to see a stock looking mirage blow the doors off of someone.
