If the evo ever really did bite the dust, it may lead to an actual sporty eclipse again someday. One can always hope.

I swear to god if the new evo becomes a hybrid as they talk about in that article....
+1 for the Toyota/Subaru FT-86 Sports Car though

Does the concept remind anybody else of the "Concept RA"? it was supposed to be an AWD turbo diesel 4cyl, but as a coupe. One could only dream of the turbo diesel 4 with AWD in the mitsu badge. Certainly if it was to be sedan. Even more than that, how could it come under $25K? I'm waiting for Audi R-10 through R18 TDI style engines to hit general market. We need more Biodiesel and E-85. I would finally have a car payment to own something so badass.

Yes the eclipse is being discontinued as is the Evo, however I have heard before a hybrid Lancer is in the works for Mitsu as an EVO option my be available.

It's sad cuz more people own a 1g/2g eclipse than a 3g haha. Whoever said newer is better must have not known Mitsu

I'm not going to lie, my 4th gen has alot of potential. It grew on me quite quickly and the little lade loves it!

Ya, the 4th gens don't seem to be too bad. I was much more impressed when I prepped the first manual GTS. A lot of manufactures pulled their head out of their asses about that time and started to make better performing cars.

Yea I ran a 14.6 in her 3.8L 6-spd manual 4th gen, not too shabby for a tank of a coupe with leather, sunroof, and factory 18's lol
